I’ve been drawing and painting since childhood, but my formal artistic journey began at the Bruges Art Academy. There, I discovered exciting new ideas and explored the works of past and present artists who continue to inspire me today.

From there, I delved deeper into Painting at LUCA school of arts Ghent, honing my skills and discovering fresh ways to bring ideas to life.

I’m always eager to experiment and learn new things, a curiosity that’s led me to explore a wide range of mediums over the years—each with its own unique strengths and challenges. I’ve worked with watercolor, gouache, acrylics, and digital tools, but I ultimately found my perfect painting medium in oils. My work spans from stand-alone paintings to fully painted graphic novels, where I strive for as much realism and atmosphere as the medium allows.

Recently, I also illustrated a children’s book—a fun and rewarding challenge that expanded my creative horizons.

I like to think of myself as a maximalist, drawing inspiration from all the things I love—whether it’s film, music, architecture or the small, fascinating details of everyday life. Every new interest seems to fuel my creativity and shapes the art I create.
